"God previously spoke to humanity through the prophets, but in these last days He speaks to us through His Son, Whom He appoints heir of all things, and through Whom He made the eons..." (Hebrews 1:1-2)
In my study of Scripture, I have identified eight eons in the Bible that were made by Jesus, the Son of God. It is my belief that Jesus will return to Earth at the end of the sixth eon.
An eon,
or age, is a period of time that the Son of God uses to reveal Himself and His Father to humanity. I have identified the beginning and end of the first seven eons. The eighth has a recognizable beginning date but not an end. Over the first seven eons we see both angelic beings and human beings fall into wickedness and despair yet rise to the glory of immortal perfection to enter the eighth eon, the eon of the New
Heaven and New Earth in the Kingdom of God.
Eon
one began with the Creation of the present Heavens and Earth under the dominion of angelic beings and ends in judgment for their failure. Eons two
through six begin with the restoration of the Earth and the creation of humans in the image of God to have dominion over the Earth. During these five eons, humanity brings God's repeated judgment for
failure to righteously exercise dominion over the Earth and its creatures.
Even the sixth eon, the eon when Jesus rules over the nations of Earth in perfect righteousness for one thousand
years, ends in failure when humanity rebels against that righteous rule of Jesus bringing about the total destruction of the present Earth.
The seventh eon begins with all created beings brought before the throne of God to give an account for the things they did during the first seven eons. At the end of that process, by the grace of God, every one of God's created beings will be reconciled to God and humanity will possess a new gloriously transformed spiritual body made in the image of Christ Jesus, the Son of God.
The eighth eon begins with the creation of a New Heaven and New Earth which will be the home base in the Kingdom of God. God will endlessly dwell among His created beings in perfect peace and harmony.
Following are the details of the eight eons that I have found while studying the Bible over more than four decades.
Eon One
The Original Creation – The Big Bang
God the Father has no beginning or end. At some point in the past He brought forth out of Himself a Son created in His image. The Son is the first creature and humanity will be made into His image. Jesus is the Son of God who is...
"...the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature, for in Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities, all is created through Him and for Him, and He is before all, and all has its cohesion in Him." (Colossians 1:15-17)
God the Father and His Son are the Elohim of Hebrew scripture. Elohim simply means “mighty ones.” There are many mighty ones mentioned in the Bible but in the first verse of the Bible, and in most other verses where the term "Elohim" is used, it refers to two almighty ones, God the Father and His Son.
"In a
beginning Elohim created the Heavens and the Earth..."
(Genesis 1:1)
"Let us make humanity in our image, after our likeness..." (Genesis 1:26)
Science refers to the creation event as a singularity – many call it the Big Bang. At the big bang everything in our universe came into existence and the earth and perhaps other planets became inhabited over a period of time.
"For thus says Yahweh, Creator of the heavens; He is the Elohim, and Former of the earth, and its Maker, and He, He established it. He did not create it a chaos. He formed it to be indwelt. "I am Yahweh, and there is none else." (Isaiah 45:18)
When our planet Earth was originally created it was not vacant, it was made to be inhabited. Yet, in the second verse of the Bible we are told that it became a vacant chaos.
"Yet the earth became a chaos and vacant, and darkness was on the surface of the submerged chaos." (Genesis 1:2)
Before it became a vacant chaos it was inhabited most likely by prehistoric life for billions of years as science has learned - but something happened that caused it to become a vacant chaos. It seems to me that the cause was the rebellion of some of the celestial beings (angels) who had been created during or before the Big Bang and most likely given dominion over the original Earth and all other planets in the Universe.
Those celestial beings who rebelled against God were led by Satan, the chief Adversary of the Elohim.
"...the
ancient serpent called Adversary and Satan." (Revelation 12:9)
The
judgment for that rebellion was that the original Earth and all other planets in our Universe became vacant and chaotic. This event is called "the disruption of the world" in the book of Ephesians.
"Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who blesses us with every
spiritual blessing among the Celestials, in Christ, according as He chooses us
in Him before the disruption of the world." (Ephesians 1:3-4)
Apparently the dinosaurs and the various extinct bipedal primates
known as Homo sapiens lived during eon one. However, I think the present day humans and other animals did
not evolve from those extinct animals. In my view, present day humans were created by
God at the beginning of eon two.
The judgment that made the Earth a vacant chaos was the first judgment brought upon creation by the Elohim, and that judgment brought eon one to its end.
Eon Two
The Restoration of the Earth
The second eon began with the Elohim restoring the Earth to its original perfection. Again, in my view “Elohim” is referring to two specific almighty ones of Scripture who are God the Father, and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
"And the spirit of Elohim began vibrating over the surface of the Earth. And Elohim said: Let light come to be! And light came to be. Elohim saw the light that it was good. Then Elohim separated the light from the darkness. And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness was called Night. And evening came to be, and morning came to be, day one." (Genesis 1:2-5)
A
biblical day begins and ends in the evening when the sun sets. The sun was already in
the heavens at the time of the restoration of the Earth.
In the
first five days of eon two the Elohim adjusted the atmosphere around earth so that
the sun, moon, stars, and planets could be seen, warm the Earth, and provide an
atmosphere capable of sustaining life. The water which then covered the Earth
was separated from the land. The heat from the sun caused plant life to spring
up which reveals to me that the seed of plants were still in the Earth at the beginning eon two. Elohim then created
fish, birds, and other animals that currently live on the land and in the
waters of the present Earth in which we now live.
Elohim created one male human on day six. Out of that first human would come a female human. Together they have produced all humanity and humanity was given dominion over all other life on the restored Earth.
"Yahweh
Elohim formed the human out of soil from the ground, and He blew into his
nostrils the breath of life; and the human became a living soul." (Genesis
2:7)
"And
Elohim said: Let Us make humanity in Our image and according to Our likeness.
We will allow them to have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the flyer
of the heavens, over the domestic beast, over every land animal and over every
creeper that is creeping on the Earth. So, humanity was created in the image of
Elohim: male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:24-27)
Elohim stopped from the work of restoration after six days. The following seventh day has come to be known as the Sabbath, a Hebrew word meaning stopping from work - resting from labor.
"On
the sixth day Elohim finished the work THEY had made; and ceased on the seventh
day from all work that THEY had made. And the Elohim blessed the seventh day
and hallowed it." (Genesis 2:2-3)
"For
in six days Yahweh dealt with the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that
is in them, and He stopped on the seventh day. Therefore, Yahweh blessed the
sabbath day and hallowed it." (Exodus 20:10-11)
Yahweh is a name given for the two mighty creators - the Elohim. It embraces both God the Father and His Son. Yahweh would be incarnated as the human Jesus who became the
visible manifestation of God the Father to all creatures. The name Jesus means “Yahweh
saves.” Jesus is…
“...the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature, for in
Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and
the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities,
all is created through Him and for Him, and He is before all, and all has its
cohesion in Him. And He is the Head of the body, the ecclesia, Who is
Sovereign, Firstborn from among the dead, that in all He may be becoming first,
for in Him the entire complement delights to dwell, and through Him to
reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through
Him, whether those on the earth or those in the heavens.” (Colossians 1:15-20)
In
English versions of the Bible, the Hebrew word “Yahweh” is translated “LORD” over six thousand three hundred times in the Old Testament, and when translated into Greek the Greek word "kurios" was used. The Greek word "kurios" is translated into English as "Lord" over six hundred times in the New Testament. At the close of eon seven every human will have realized that the Jesus
Christ is Yahweh.
“For let this disposition be in you, which is in Christ Jesus also, Who,
being inherently in the form of God, deems it not pillaging to be equal with
God, nevertheless empties Himself, taking the form of a slave, coming to be in
the likeness of humanity, and, being found in fashion as a human, He humbles
Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore,
also, God the Father highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every
name, that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and
terrestrial, and subterranean, and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus
Christ is Lord (Yahweh), for the glory of God, the Father.” (Philippians
2:5-11)
The name of the first human is Adam. Adam’s body
was formed out of the soil from the Earth. The Earth at that time had a special place called Eden. God planted a special garden paradise in the eastern part of Eden as the
home for Adam.
"Yahweh
Elohim planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there He put the human whom
He had formed...with the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and also the
tree of the knowledge of good and evil...Then Yahweh Elohim took the human and
settled him in the garden of Eden to serve it and to keep it." (Genesis 2:
8-9)
Yahweh Elohim gave Adam only one rule to obey in his garden paradise home - he was not to
eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Yahweh then made a
female for Adam to help him take care of the garden paradise and Adam
named her Eve. All was well for them until Eve was deceived by Satan, the
Adversary of God disguising himself as a serpent. Satan talked her into
disobeying the rule. She ate from the fruit of that
forbidden tree and gave some to Adam who also ate.
The
judgment for that first sin of humanity was severe. It included banishment from
the garden paradise home, a curse of the ground so that it took hard work to survive on Earth outside that garden home. It also caused painful
childbirth for woman, and a decaying process of the human body which would
end in death. This death process has been passed through to all humanity.
"Therefore,
even as through one human sin entered into the world, and through sin death,
and thus death passed through into all humanity..." (Romans 5:12)
There was another special tree in the garden paradise called the tree of life.
Eating the fruit from this tree would extend the life of a mortal human indefinitely. Part of the judgment for disobeying Yahweh was to deny Adam and Eve access to
the tree of life.
"Then
Yahweh Elohim said: Behold, human has become like one of Us in knowing good
and evil. Now lest he should stretch out his hand and take also of the tree of
life and eat and live for the eon, Yahweh Elohim set him out of the garden of
Eden to serve the ground from where he was taken." (Genesis 3:22-23)
Outside the garden Adam and Eve then began to have children and Eve gave birth to Cain and Abel. In time Cain brought an offering to Yahweh of the fruit of the ground that Yahweh had cursed and it was rejected. Abel brought a blood sacrifice from his flocks which Yahweh accepted. Cain got mad at Yahweh and murdered his brother Abel.
"Abel became a shepherd of the flock, while Cain was serving the ground. And it came to be at the end of a year’s days that Cain brought an approach present to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground. As for Abel however, he brought some firstlings of his flock and their fat portions. And Yahweh gave heed to Abel and his approach present. But to Cain and his approach present He did not give heed; so Cain’s anger grew very hot, and his face fell. Then Yahweh said to Cain: Why is your anger hot? And why is your face fallen? If you had done what is well, would you not lift up your face? But since you have not done well, there is a sin offering, a flockling reclining at the portal, And for you is restoration in his sacrifice; you are ruling over him. Cain said to his brother Abel: Let us go into the field. Now it came to pass while they were in the field that Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. So Yahweh said to Cain: Where is your brother Abel? And he replied: I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper? Then He said: What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to Me from the ground. Now you are cursed, away from the ground which has opened wide its mouth to take your brother’s blood from your hand. When you |serve the ground, it shall not continue to give its vigor to you." (Genesis 4:2-12)
The banishment from the garden paradise was the second judgment brought by the Elohim upon creation which brought about death and the evil murder of Abel by Cain.
Eon Three
From Eden to the Flood
After banishment from the garden paradise, and the murder of Abel, Adam and Eve began to have other children beginning with a son they named Seth. The birth of Seth began eon three.
"Adam new Eve his wife again. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She called his name Seth, saying truly Elohim has set for me another seed instead of Abel, for Cain killed him." (Genesis 4:25)
Over the following several hundred years humans became a multitude populating the land areas of the entire Earth. Little is said about the people of eon three, except that
as humanity grew in number, they became increasingly evil. Because of that
wickedness, Yahweh made the decision to destroy humanity.
"Yahweh
saw that the wickedness of humanity was increasing on earth, and every
imagination of the thoughts of its heart was continually evil. So, Yahweh
said: I will destroy humanity that I have created off the surface of the
ground...Yet Noah, he found grace in the eyes of Yahweh." (Genesis 6:5-6,
8)
The method for the destruction of humanity was a world-wide flood. However, Yahweh made an exception for a human named Noah. He and his family were spared from the flood. He also spared a pair of all the land-based animals. Yahweh instructed Noah to build a large boat to save them from the flood. According to the chronological records found in the Masoretic Text of the Old Testament, the flood came one thousand six hundred fifty-six years after the creation of Adam
The judgment of the flood was the third judgment brought by the Elohim upon creation and ended eon three.
Eon Four
From the Flood to Babel
Age four
began when Noah, his family, and the animals came off the boat. Yahweh
then promised Noah to never again destroy the earth by a flood, even
though the heart of humanity would continue to be evil. Rainbows are a reminder
to humanity of that promise. The three sons of Noah are named Ham, Shem,
and Japheth. All humans today have descended from Noah and these three sons.
"...the
sons of Noah who came forth from the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth… These
three were Noah's sons, and from these the entire Earth became inhabited."
(Genesis 9:18-19)
The boat had come to rest in the mountains of Ararat. Yahweh then instructed Noah and his sons to spread across the earth. Noah's family settled in a land they called Shinar. As their numbers increased they refused to do what Yahweh had told them to do, which was to spread out over the earth. A descendant of Noah named Nimrod built the first cities and started the first government of humanity in the city of Babel. Nimrod then began building a great tower into heaven to make a name for himself and to prevent humanity from scattering over the Earth as God had commanded Noah. This disobedience brought judgment once again upon humanity.
"And saying is Yahweh, "Behold! One people is it. And one
language is for them all. And this they have started to do! And unless we
intervene, nothing will prevent them from doing what they will plan to do.
Therefore, we will descend, and disintegrate their language, that they may not
hear each man the language of his associate. And scattering them is Yahweh
thence on the surface of the entire earth. And leaving off are they the
building of the city and Yahweh Elohim scatters them over the surface of the
entire Earth." (Genesis 11:6-9)
The judgment upon Babel was the fourth judgment by God upon creation and ended eon four.
Eon Five
Part One: From Babel to Abraham and Isaac
Eon five is the eon in which we live today. It began after the judgment on Babel when Peleg was born one thousand seven hundred fifty-seven years after the creation of Adam. To date, eon five has lasted for more than four thousand two hundred years. I will divide eon five into parts in order to document what has happened so far and what is to come in the future.
Humanity started spreading over the Earth according to the various languages spoken after the judgment upon Babel.
"In the days of Peleg, the land was distributed.” (Genesis 10:25)
The nations of the earth are
still mostly divided by the various languages resulting from the judgment upon Babel. The Bible calls eon five "the
present wicked eon".
Most of the Old Testament history of eon five is a record of the
history of the family line of Abraham, a descendant of Shem, one of the sons of
Noah. Abraham was born in a place called Ur which is now in modern day Iraq. After his father died Abraham
moved to Canaan. Yahweh promised Abraham that he would give
him the land of Canaan and would become a great nation. Yahweh also
told Abraham that all nations would one day be blessed by one of his
descendants.
"Then
Terah died in Charan. Yahweh said to Abram: Go by yourself from your land, from
your kindred and from your Father’s house to the land that I shall show you. I
shall make you into a great nation, and I will bless you...In you shall all the
families of the ground will be blessed." (Genesis 11:32-12:3)
The New Testament tells us that the promised descendant who would be a blessing to all nations is Jesus Christ, the incarnated Son of God. Jesus
would be a blessing to all nations by saving humanity from its sins. The blood shed by Jesus on the cross took away the sin of the world.
"For
there is one God, and one Mediator of God and humanity, a Man, Christ Jesus,
Who is giving Him ransom for all...behold the Lamb of God Which is
taking away the sin of the world!" (1 Timothy 2:5-6; John 1:29)
Abraham’s son Isaac was born when Abraham was one hundred years old, and his wife
Sarai was ninety years old. Because Abraham believed that God would give him an
heir through Sarai, even though the promise of a son through her seemed impossible, Abraham is called the father of everyone who has faith in the promises of God.
"Abraham
believes God, and it is reckoned to him for righteousness. Know, consequently,
that those of faith, these are sons of Abraham. Now the scripture, perceiving
before that God is justifying the nations by faith, brings before an evangel to
Abraham, that in you shall all the nations be blessed." (Galatians 3:6-9)
Eon Five - Part Two
Israel in Egypt
When Isaac was sixty years old, his son Jacob was born. When grown, Yahweh told Jacob in a dream that the covenant He had made with Abraham and Isaac would be accomplished through him. Later, Elohim changed Jacob's name to Israel. The Jewish people today are descendants of Jacob/Israel.
"Elohim
appeared to Jacob again...and Elohim blessed him. Elohim said to him: Your name
is Jacob; yet your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but rather Israel, it
shall be your name." (Genesis 35:9-10)
Jacob had
twelve sons conceived by four different mothers (Leah, Rachel, Zilpah, and
Bilhah). The twelve sons of Jacob became leaders of twelve tribes who have
become known as the nation of Israel. The names of the sons, in the order of
their age, are Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher,
Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin.
Joseph
was Jacob's favorite. That angered his older brothers, so they sold him into
slavery and Joseph was taken to Egypt. God blessed him there and in time he
became second in line to Pharaoh after interpreting his dream about a great
famine that was coming upon the land. To preserve his family during the
famine, Joseph convinced his father Jacob to move from Canaan to Egypt. They
were welcomed by Pharaoh and given some of Pharaoh's best land to
live on. Joseph forgave his older brothers because it was part of the plan of Elohim to save his family from the famine.
"Then
Joseph said to his brothers...I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to Egypt.
And now do not be grieved nor let it be hot in your eyes that you sold
me hither...Elohim sent me on before you to set up for you a remnant on
earth and to preserve lives for you in a great deliverance." (Genesis 45:4-8)
While in
Egypt Jacobs family increased in numbers and were known as Hebrews. Because of
their great numbers, another Egyptian Pharaoh made them his slaves.
Eon Five - Part Three
Exodus to the Birth of
Jesus
After
Israel became slaves of Pharaoh, Elohim took pity on them remembering the
promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. A Hebrew baby boy of the tribe of Levi was born in
a time when the Egyptian Pharaoh had ordered all male Hebrew children to be killed at
birth. The baby was delivered from death by the daughter of Pharaoh. She named
him Moses. When Moses was about forty years old he tried to help the
Hebrew slaves, and in the process killed an Egyptian. To avoid the wrath of the
Pharaoh he fled to the land of Midian where he worked as a shepherd for a
priest of Median named Jethro, who became his father-in-law.
At the
age of eighty, Yahweh appeared to Moses and told Him to return to Egypt and
tell the Pharaoh to release the Hebrews from slavery. He told Moses that
Pharaoh would resist but eventually would be forced to let the people go. When
released, Moses was told to bring them to Mount Sinai to meet with Yahweh.
Aaron,
Moses's brother, was allowed to help. Moses and Aaron were from the tribe of
Levi, and Aaron and his descendants would become the priests of Israel.
After
many plagues from Yahweh upon Egypt, Pharaoh let the Hebrews leave Egypt.
However, shortly after they had left, Pharaoh changed his mind and sent his
army to bring them back. Yahweh parted the Red Sea to allow Israel to cross
over to the other side, and then destroyed Pharaoh’s army when they tried to
follow.
"When
the horses of Pharaoh had entered with his chariots and with his horsemen into
the sea, then Yahweh returned the waters of the sea over them. Yet the sons of
Israel, they had gone on dry ground in the midst of the sea!" (Exodus
15:19)
Israel
arrived at Mount Sinai four hundred thirty years after Abraham had moved into
Canaan and two thousand five hundred thirteen years after the creation of Adam. Yahweh gave Israel ten commandments to keep and promised to bless
them if they obeyed those commandments. They all agreed to obey.
"So,
Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and he placed before them
all these words which Yahweh had instructed him. Now all the people responded
together and said: All that Yahweh speaks we shall do."(Exodus 19:7-8)
Despite
their promise, Israel disobeyed the first commandment in less than forty days.
Yahweh forgave them but gave Moses more laws, including how the sins of Israel
were to be dealt with. Jewish rabbis identify six hundred thirteen laws given
Moses including animal sacrifice to atone for sin.
After
Moses died, Joshua became the leader of Israel. Under his leadership Israel
took possession of some of the land of Canaan , and divided it among the twelve tribes of Israel.
Eventually
Yahweh chose a young man named David to be king of Israel. Under King
David, Israel became the great nation Yahweh had promised Abraham. King
David's son Solomon became King and he built a Temple for Yahweh in
Jerusalem. Construction was started four hundred eighty years after the exodus
from Egypt and two thousand nine hundred ninety-three years after the creation
of Adam.
After the
death Solomon, there was civil war and Israel split up to become two kingdoms,
the Southern Kingdom consisting of two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, and the
Northern Kingdom consisting of nine tribes. The tribe of Levi lived in both
kingdoms and served as priests.
The kings
of the Southern kingdom reigned over Jerusalem for a
total of four hundred nineteen years after Solomon started the construction of
the Temple. During that time the
Assyrians conquered the Northern Kingdom and about a hundred years later the
Babylonians conquered the Southern Kingdom. Most of the people of Israel were
scattered across those empires and remain scattered to this day.
The
Babylonian captivity lasted seventy years. During the latter part of those
seventy years the prophet Daniel repented of Israel’s unfaithfulness after
reading from the words of the prophet Jeremiah.
"We
have sinned, and we have been depraved: we have acted wickedly and have
revolted; we have withdrawn from your instructions and from Your ordinances,
and we have not hearkened to your servants the prophets...all the people of
Israel, the near and the far, in all the lands where you have expelled them for
their offenses with which they offend You. With You, O Yahweh, is
righteousness, yet with us is shame of face: with our kings, with our chiefs,
with our fathers, since we have sinned against you." (Daniel 9:5-7)
After his
prayer, Yahweh told Daniel that there would come a time when He would put an
end to their unfaithfulness and depravity. Daniel was told that it would happen over a period of seventy
sevens beginning when Israel was allowed by their captors to return to
Jerusalem. At the conclusion of those seventy sevens their sin would finally
end, and a faithful leader, the Messiah, would be anointed.
"Seventy
sevens are segregated for your people and for your holy city: to detain
transgression, to make sin come to an end, to make a propitiatory shelter for
depravity; to bring the righteousness of the eons, to seal the vision and the
prophetic word, to anoint the holy of holies." (Daniel 9:24)
The
seventy sevens are four hundred ninety years beginning from the end of the
Babylonian captivity and ending with the anointing of Jesus as the Messiah when
He returns. However, Daniel was told that after sixty-nine sevens, four
hundred eighty-three years, the Messiah would come to Earth and be
rejected.
"Now
you should know and be intelligent: From the going forth of the word to cause a
return and to rebuild Jerusalem - from then until Messiah the Governor is seven
sevens, and sixty-two sevens...After the sixty-two sevens, Messiah shall be cut
off, and there will be no adjudication for Him." (Daniel 9:25-26)
Jesus is the Messiah spoken of by Daniel. His birth came four hundred eighty-three years after the Babylonian captivity ended and three thousand nine hundred sixty five years after the creation of Adam. Thirty five years after his birth he was rejected as the Messiah and crucified. Therefore, the final seven years of Daniel’s prophecy has been delayed for almost two thousand years to date.
Eon Five - Part Four
The First Coming of Jesus, the Son of God
Yahweh,
the Son of God was incarnated as a human named Jesus in order to save the world. He was born of a young virgin of the tribe of Judah
who had been miraculously impregnated by the power of God the Father. An
angel appeared to Mary’s fiancée Joseph and instructed him to name the child
Yeshua (Jesus) which means "Yahweh saves.”
Jesus was
not only the Messiah of Israel but also the heir of Abraham who would bless the
whole world by saving it from its sin. He was born in Bethlehem but grew
up in Nazareth, both small towns in the land of Israel. Around the age of
thirty, He begin His ministry to Israel announcing the restoration of their
kingdom. His
message to Israel was one of repentance and preparation.
"Repent!
for near is the kingdom of the heavens." (Matthew 4:17)
He chose
twelve Jewish men to follow him and for several years they traveled around the
land of Israel performing many miracles among the people which confirmed that
Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah and savior of the world. Despite those miracles, the Jewish
religious leaders - called the Sanhedrin - rejected Him, arrested him, and
sentenced Him to death for the blasphemy of claiming to be the Son of God. They
handed Him over to the Romans to be crucified. This occurred on the preparation
day for the annual Jewish Passover festival.
"...the chief priest said to Him, I exorcise
you by the living God that you may tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of
God. Saying to him is Jesus, You say it! Moreover, I am saying to you,
Henceforth you shall be seeing the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of
power and coming on the clouds of heaven. Then the chief priest tears his
garments, saying that He blasphemes!" (Matthew 26:63-65)
Jesus
died as the final sacrifice for the sins of Israel and the sins of the whole
world.
"Lo!
I am arriving to do Thy will, O God!...This One, when offering one sacrifice
for sins, is seated to a finality at the right hand of God, waiting furthermore
until His enemies may be placed as a footstool for His feet. For by one
approach present He has perfected to a finality those who are hallowed."
(Hebrews 10:9, 12-14)
"And
He is the propitiatory shelter concerned with our sins, yet not concerned with
ours only, but concerned with the whole world also." (1 John 2:2)
Eon Five - Part Five
The Ascension of Jesus
God the Father brought His Son back to life on the third day after His death. Forty days later Jesus ascended back into heaven. It was His flesh and blood body that was raised, and that body was not transformed back into His glorious, immortal, spiritual body until He ascended through the clouds to what Paul called the third heaven of paradise.
"I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven...he was snatched away into paradise." (2 Corinthians 12:2, 4)
In
the paradise of the third heaven Jesus, the Son of God, once again took His
place at the right hand of God the Father. He still dwells there today waiting
for His time to return to Earth.
“Are You
the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said
Jesus, “and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming
with the clouds of heaven.” (Mark 14:61-62)
At His
ascension, His disciples were told that He would return.
"This
Jesus Who is being taken up from you into heaven shall come thus, in the manner
in which you gaze at Him going into heaven." (Acts 1:11)
Fifty days after His resurrection and ten days
after His ascension, on the Jewish festival day of Pentecost, the disciples
received holy spirit power to tell Israel that Jesus is their Messiah and He
had been resurrected from the dead. Peter told Israel to repent for rejecting Jesus and be
baptized as evidence of that repentance. If all Israel would do so, God would send Jesus back to complete the
restoration of the kingdom of Israel on this Earth.
"This
Jesus God raises, of Whom we all are witnesses. Being, then, to the right hand
of God exalted...Let all the house of Israel know certainly, then, that God
makes Him Lord as well as Christ - this Jesus Whom you crucify!"(Acts
2:32-33)
"Repent
and be baptized, each of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the pardon of your
sins"..."the Inaugurator of Life you kill, Whom God rouses from among
the dead, of which we are witnesses...And now, brethren, I am aware that in
ignorance you commit it, even as your chiefs also. Yet what God announces
before through the mouth of all the prophets - the suffering of Christ - He
thus fulfills. Repent, then, and turnabout for the erasure of your sins, so
that the seasons of refreshing should be coming from the face of the Lord, and
He should dispatch the One fixed upon before you, Christ Jesus, Whom heaven
must indeed receive until the times of restoration of all which God speaks
through the mouth of His holy prophets who are from the eon."(Acts 2:38;
3:15-21)
Sadly, Israel again rejected Jesus. The result is that Israel will remain in unbelief until Jesus returns. Even though Israel as a nation has rejected Jesus as its Messiah, Elohim has reserved for Himself a remnant of faithful Jewish believers who are sometimes called Messianic Jews.
"Thus,
then, in the current era also, there has come to be a remnant according to the
choice of grace." (Romans 11:5)
Eon Five - Part Six
The Secret Joint Body of Christ
After the
leaders of Israel had rejected Jesus as the Messiah for the second time, a
secret was revealed to a Jewish man called Saul, also known as Paul. This
secret was that Elohim will join Israel and all other nations into one joint
body. Messiah Jesus will be the head of that body. This body is also known as the church
(ecclesia). The Greek word "ecclesia" is
usually translated into English as church and simply means a called-out group.
"On this behalf I, Paul, the prisoner of
Christ Jesus for you, the nations, since you surely hear of the
administration of the grace of God that is given to me for you, for by
revelation the secret is made known to me (according as I write before, in
brief, by which you who are reading are able to apprehend my understanding in
the secret of the Christ, which, in other generations, is not made known to the
sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in
spirit the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body,
and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel of
which I became the dispenser, in accord with the gratuity of the grace of God,
which is granted to me in accord with His powerful operation." (Ephesians
1:1-7)
The
Apostle Paul had the responsibility of sharing this secret to both the nation of Israel and to all other nations of the world. Paul therefore refers to himself as the apostle of the
nations.
"Now
to you am I saying, to the nations, in as much as, indeed, then, I am the apostle
of the nations." (Romans 11:13)
"To
me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the
evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations, and to enlighten
all as to what is the administration of the secret which has been concealed
from the eons in God." (Ephesians 3:8-9)
The
church is not composed of brick and mortar but is made up of people of all
ethnic backgrounds and genders. The individual human members do not join
anything but are placed in the joint body when God the Father determines to do so.
"Yet now God placed the members, each one of
them, in the body according as He wills." (1 Corinthians 12:18)
God the Father has determined to place people in the body of Christ when they accept the good news that Jesus the incarnated Son of God died for the sins of humanity, was entombed, and raised to
life on the third day following His death.
“Now I am
making known to you, brethren, the good news which I bring to you, which also you
accepted, in which also you stand, through which also you are saved, if you are
retaining what I said in bringing the evangel to you, outside and except you
believe feignedly. For I give over to you among the first what also I accepted,
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was
entombed, and that He has been roused the third day according to the
scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
The
destiny of the body of Christ is to become a display of God's love, mercy,
and grace among the angelic, spiritual beings who live in the vast Universe - including those who rebelled in the first eon.
"God,
being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us (we also
being dead to the offenses and the lusts), vivifies us together in Christ (in
grace are you saved!) and rouses us together and seats us together among the
celestials, in Christ Jesus, that, in the oncoming eons, He should be
displaying the transcendent riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ
Jesus. For in grace, through faith, are you saved, and this is not out of you;
it is God's approach present, not of works, lest anyone should be
boasting." (Ephesians 2:4-9)
That sinful humanity was to become holy and flawless as a free gift of the grace of God the Father was determined before the disruption of the Cosmos that ended eon one. However, it was kept a secret until that good news (the gospel) was revealed to Paul years after the ascension of Jesus. He did so to reveal to all His creatures the glory of the grace of God the Father.
Membership in the body has
nothing to do with obedience to the things required in the law given Israel.
Redeemed humanity is solely the achievement of God.
"For
His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
Again, the Elohim had kept this unified joint body a secret from humanity until it was
revealed to the Apostle Paul.
"…by revelation, the secret is made know to
me...which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of
humanity." (Ephesians 3:3-5)
Eon Five - Part Seven
The Evangel
The word
"evangel" is the Greek word for gospel. It means "well-message"
or "good news". Briefly, the evangel of the salvation of humanity is as follows:
FIRST: God sent His Son to ransom and save ALL humans from sin and death.
“...our
Savior, God, Who wills ALL humanity be saved and come into a realization of the
truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator of God and humanity, a Man,
Christ Jesus, Who is giving Himself a correspondent RANSOM for ALL (the
testimony in its own eras)." (1 Timothy 2:4-7)
"Surely,
He Who spares not His own Son, but gives Him up for us ALL, how shall He
not, together with Him, also, be graciously granting us all?" (Romans
8:31)
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone.”
(Titus 2:11)
"Faithful
is the saying and worthy of all welcome, that Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners, of whom I am the worst." (1 Timothy 1:15-16)
“Faithful
is the saying and worthy of all welcome (for this are we toiling and being
reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Savior of ALL humanity,
especially of believers.” (1 Timothy 4:9-10)
SECOND:
Humanity is made righteous before God the Father through the shed blood of Christ Jesus.
"...having
been declared righteous now in His blood, we shall be saved through
Him..." (Romans 5:9)
"Being
mad righteous freely in His grace, through the salvation which is in Christ
Jesus." (Romans 3:24)
“For the
One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be
becoming God's righteousness in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
THIRD: The
whole creation will be reconciled to God
"Yet
all is of God, Who reconciles us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us
the dispensation of the reconciliation, how that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us
the word of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
“And He is
the Head of the body, the ecclesia, Who is Sovereign, Firstborn from among the
dead, that in all He may becoming first, for in Him the entire complement
delights to dwell, and through Him to reconcile ALL to Him (making peace through
the blood of His cross), through Him, whether those of the earth or those in
the heavens." (Colossians 1:18-20)
"For
the premonition of the creation is awaiting the unveiling of the sons of God.
For to vanity was the creation subjected, not voluntarily, but because of Him
Who subjects it, in expectation that the creation itself, also, shall be freed
from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of
God." (Romans 8:19-21)
"God
highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the Name that is above every name, that
in the Name of Jesus EVERY knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and
subterranean, and EVERY tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord,
for the glory of God, our Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)
Eon Five - Part Eight
The Tribulation
The
series of events during the last seven years of Eon Five is known as the
Tribulation. It is the Seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy and it begins with a covenant with many, most likely a peace treaty between Israel and its enemies.
"Then
he will be master of a covenant with many for one seven; at half of
the seven, he shall cause to cease the sacrifice and the approach
present... “(Daniel 9:27)
The treaty will
apparently allow Israel to set up its sacrificial system on the Temple
mount in Jerusalem. This treaty is broken by a world leader who causes the sacrifices
to stop and is the cause of an abomination that causes the desolation of the holy place on the Temple mount. It may involve the destruction of the current Dome of the Rock which now sits on the spot where Solomon's Temple was built. This occurs is in the middle of the seven year Tribulation and is followed by a
great persecution of the Jews.
"Now
whenever you may be perceiving the abomination of desolation, declared by
Daniel the prophet, standing where it must not (let the reader apprehend), then
let those in Judea flee into the mountains...for in those days will be
affliction such as has not occurred from the beginning of creation which God creates
until now." (Mark 13:14-20)
The individual who causes the abomination is usually referred to as the Antichrist. He will come to world power with the help of a world-renowned religious leader called the False Prophet who appears to be able to do great miracles. After the Antichrist comes to power he will require everyone to receive his mark to buy or sell goods and services. During the final year of the Tribulation God will pour out His wrath on the government of the Antichrist as punishment for his "affliction" of those in the body of Christ, some of whom will have been killed.
It is my view that thirty minutes before the wrath of God is poured out for one year, the living members of the body of Christ will be snatched away into the clouds to meet Jesus in the air so that they are not injured by that wrath of God falling on the Earth. At the same time all the dead members of the body of Christ will be raised to life. This event is usually referred to as the rapture of the church and includes their transformation into an immortal spiritual body like Jesus now has. Jesus will return to Earth at the conclusion of the one year and the Antichrist and the False Prophet will then be cast into to the lake of fire. All mortals who followed them and received the mark of the beast will be killed.
"...the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse." (Revelation 19:20-21)
INTERESTING POSSIBILITY: If the return of Jesus happens six thousand years from the creation of Adam, a thousand years for each day of creation, then Jesus will return in the year 2035 AD the Bible chronology clearly shows that Jesus was born exactly three thousand nine hundred sixty five years after the creation of Adam. See the following link: https://2035thereturn.blogspot.com/2022/12/dating-return-of-jesus.html
The judgment upon the Antichrist, the False Prophet, and those who have their mark is the fifth judgment of God upon His creation and will end eon five.
Eon Six
The Thousand Year Reign of Israel over this Earth - the Millennium
"Now, whenever the Son of Humanity may be coming in His glory, and all the holy messengers with Him, then shall He be seated on the throne of His glory, and in front of Him shall be gathered all the nations." (Matthew 25:31-32)
Upon His return, Jesus will bind Satan and his messengers for a thousand years so they can no longer influence the mortals living during eon six which lasts for one thousand years - the Millennium.
"And I perceived a messenger descending out of heaven, having the key of the submerged chaos and a large chain in his hand. And he lays hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Adversary and Satan, and binds him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:1-2)
The
nations will be separated into two groups based on how they treated Israel
during the Tribulation. Those nations who helped Israel will have a higher place in
the Millennial kingdom then those nations who did not help Israel who will be
chastened during the thousand years.
"Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers. For I hunger and you do not give Me to eat; I thirst and you do not give Me drink; a stranger was I and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; infirm and in jail and you did not visit Me.' "Then shall they also be answering, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive you hungering or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in jail, and we did not serve you?' "Then shall He be answering them, saying, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it not to one of these, the least, neither do you it to Me.' And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian." (Matthew 25:41-46)
The twelve Jewish disciples chosen by Jesus will sit on twelve thrones ruling over the house of Israel. David will be the Prince of Israel, and a special group of one hundred forty-four thousand (144,000) out of every tribe of Israel will have special roles during the thousand year reign of Israel over the Earth, most likely involved in the governing of the other nations. The remaining resurrected members of the body of Christ will reign with Jesus over the whole Cosmos/Universe.
"Then, answering, Peter said to Him, "Lo! we leave all
and follow Thee. What, consequently, will it be to us?" Yet Jesus said to
them, "Verily, I am saying to you, that you who follow Me, in the
renascence whenever the Son of Mankind should be seated on the throne of His
glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of
Israel." (Matthew 19:27-28)
"I, Yahweh, shall be their Elohim, and my servant David will be prince in their midst; I, Yahweh, have spoken." (Ezekiel 34:24)
"And I hear the number of those sealed: a hundred forty-four thousand. Sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel." (Revelation 7:3-4)
"Happy and holy is he who is having part in the former
resurrection! Over these the second death has no authority, but they will be
priests of God and of Christ, and they will be reigning with Him the thousand
years." (Revelation 20:1-6)
"God, being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us (we also being dead to the offenses and the lusts), vivifies us together in Christ (in grace are you saved!) and rouses us together and seats us together among the celestials, in Christ Jesus, that, in the oncoming eons, He should be displaying the transcendent riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:4-7)
Israel will construct a new Millennial temple where people of all
nations will come to worship. This worship center is going to be built in
the southern part of the land Yahweh gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The
land promised Abraham will be distributed among the tribes of Israel..
"And
I give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojourning, all the
land of Canaan, as an eonian holding..." (Genesis 7:8)
"In
appearances of Elohim He brought me to the land of Israel, and He rested me on
a very lofty mountain, and on it was a citylike-building in the
south." (Ezekiel 40:2)
"Thus
says my Lord Yahweh: This is the boundary in which you shall allot the
land for the twelve tribes of Israel (Joseph having two districts)."
(Ezekiel 47:13)
The earth will again be repopulated by the mortal humans left alive when Jesus
returns, those who had not taken the mark of the Beast/Antichrist. The activities in the worship center will
remind them of the death of Jesus as the sacrificed Lamb of God who took away
the sin of the world.
"On
the morrow he is observing Jesus coming toward him, and is saying,
"Lo! the Lamb of God Which is taking away the sin of the world."
(John 1:29)
The reign
of Israel will be a perfect and righteous reign over the nations of the Earth as they follow the instructions of Jesus their Messiah.
HOWEVER, toward the end of the thousand-year reign Satan will be set free to do
what He was created to do, deceive. He will again deceive mortal humanity into rebelling against the reign of Israel. He will succeed as in past ages.
"And
whenever the thousand years should be finished, Satan will be loosed out of his
jail. And he will be coming out to deceive all the nations which are in the
four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to be mobilizing them for battle,
their number being as the sand of the sea..." (Revelation 20:7-8)
The final rebellion of mortal humanity will be short lived. God will finally be through with mortal humanity, and His final judgment destroy forever the present heavens and the Earth by fire. Every mortal creature who is then living upon the Earth will die in that fire.
"Yet the heavens now, and the earth, by the same word, are stored with fire, being kept for the day of the judging and destruction of irreverent men...the heavens shall be passing by with a booming noise, yet the elements shall be dissolved by combustion, and the earth and the works in it shall no longer be found." (2 Peter 3:7-11)
Satan, the chief spiritual adversary of God will then be cast into the lake of fire where the Antichrist and False Prophet had been cast at the close of the fifth eon. These three spiritual beings will be tormented day and night until the creation of the final age begins, the age of the New Heaven and New Earth. Note, in all of scripture, they are the ONLY beings said to be tormented day and night for the eons of the eons.
"And they went up over the breadth of the earth and surround the citadel of the saints and the beloved city. And fire descended from God out of heaven and devoured them. And the Adversary who is deceiving them was cast into the lake of fire and Sulphur, where the wild beast and where the false prophet are also. And they shall be tormented day and night for the eons of the eons." (Revelation 20:9-10)
The destruction may come exactly seven thousand years after the creation of Adam. Again see the following link: https://2035thereturn.blogspot.com/2022/12/dating-return-of-jesus.html
The judgment of fire and destruction of the present heavens and earth end eon six.
Eon Seven
The Great White Throne
Humans are now justified and reconciled to God the Father on the basis of the faith of Christ Jesus, not their own personal faith. It is only by the grace and mercy of God that any human is saved out of death by being raised to life.
"...a
man is not being justified by works of law, except alone through the FAITH OF
CHRIST JESUS, we also believe in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by the
FAITH OF CHRIST and not by works of law, seeing that by works of law shall no
flesh at all be justified." (Galatians 2:14-16)
"God,
being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us (we also
being dead to the offenses and the lusts), vivifies us together in Christ (in
grace are you saved!)" (Ephesians 2:4-6)
Nevertheless, all humans must give account of their lives lived as mortals. Eon seven begins with all humanity gathered before the Great White Throne of God the Father to give an account of the lives lived while in their mortal bodies of flesh and blood. Each human will individually account for the things done during that mortal life. Good works will be acknowledged and the bad works will bring shame, but at the end of that judging, the bad will be remembered no more.
"And
I perceived a great white throne, and Him Who is sitting upon it, from Whose
face earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them. And I perceived
the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. And scrolls were
opened. And another scroll was opened which is the scroll of life. And the dead
were judged by that which is written in the scrolls in accord with their acts.
And the sea gives up the dead in it, and death and the unseen give up the dead
in them. And they were condemned, each in accord with their acts. And
death and the unseen were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death-the lake of fire. And if anyone was not found written in the scroll of
life, he was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:11-15)
“For other foundation can no
one lay beside that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if
anyone is building on this foundation gold and silver, precious stones, wood,
grass, straw, each one's work will become apparent, for the day will make it
evident, for it is being revealed by fire. And the fire, it will be testing
each one's work -- what kind it is. If anyone's work will be remaining which he
builds on it, he will get wages. If
anyone's work shall be burned up, he will forfeit it, yet he shall be saved,
yet thus, as through fire." (1 Corinthians 3:11-15)
“Wherefore also we are ambitious, whether at home or away
from home, to be well pleasing to him, for all of us must be manifested in
front of the dais of Christ, that each one may receive the things done through the body, in reference to the things
that he did, whether good or evil.” 2 Corinthians 5:9-10)
The word “dais” means a raised platform and it is my view that the platform is before the Great White Throne. Standing before the Great White Throne will be a time of both shame, fear, and joy. Joy for the believers in the body of Christ who know its purpose, yet fear for those who have never heard of Jesus, especially those who had heard and rejected Jesus during the previous eons. They will stand before Him knowing that their own personal righteousness is no better than filthy rags. Some may remember what Jesus had said to them.
"And do not fear those who
are killing the body yet are not able to kill the soul. Yet be fearing Him,
rather, Who is able to destroy the soul as well as the body in Gehenna.”
(Matthew 10:28)
As the works of humans are reviewed, some will hear the gospel of their salvation for the first time, the good news of what Jesus has done for them on the cross. At that time they will be told that God the Father has given the judgment for their sins to His Son Jesus. Jesus will then render His verdict. As each human turns their eyes upon Jesus, I envision Jesus saying something like this...
"Father, I find ALL of them NOT GUILTY, for all of them were
justified by My blood and My faith in You just as we planned before the disruption
of the world! I now present them to you ransomed, redeemed, and justified in My blood which you instructed Me to shed for them on the cross."
“Now Christ…through His own blood, entered once FOR ALL into the
holy places, finding eonian redemption.” (Hebrews 9:11-12)
“…being now justified in His blood, we shall be saved from
wrath, through Him. For if, being enemies, we were conciliated to God
through the death of His Son, much rather, being conciliated, we shall be saved
in His life.” (Romans 5:9-10)
Upon hearing the verdict all humanity rejoice, and all will bow in unity before Jesus and acclaim Him as Yahweh, their Savior.
"Who, being inherently in the form of God, deems it not
pillaging to be equal with God, nevertheless empties Himself, taking the
form of a slave, coming to be in the likeness of humanity and being found in
fashion as a human, He humbles Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the
death of the cross. Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him
with the name that is above every name, that in the name of Jesus every
knee should be bowing, celestial, terrestrial, and subterranean, and every
tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God,
the Father." (Philippians 2:11-12)
The members of the body of Christ who stand before the Great White Throne as immortals will not be harmed by the second death in the lake of fire. Only the mortals before the Throne will go into the lake of fire, the second death, in order to cremate their mortal flesh and blood bodies. It will be instantaneous death without any pain. They will gladly die the second death knowing that they will be instantly transformed into their immortal spiritual bodies - death will have been swallowed up in Victory for all humanity!
"Now, whenever this corruptible should be putting on incorruption and this mortal should be putting on immortality, then shall come to pass the word which is written, Swallowed up was Death by Victory. Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting? Now the sting of Death is sin, yet the power of sin is the law. Now thanks be to God, Who is giving us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ. So that, my beloved brethren, become settled, unmovable, superabounding in the work of the Lord always, being aware that your toil is not for naught in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:54-58)
The judgment of the second death in the lake of fire ends eon Seven. That is the final judgment of God on His creation.
What follows is the creation of a New Heaven and New Earth where humanity, now immortal, will all be worthy to enter and see. It is the Kingdom of God in all its glory!
Eon Eight
The New Heaven and New Earth
The number eight is the number of new beginnings. And eon eight, and any eons which may follow, will
begin with the creation of a New
Heaven and New Earth where the Elohim and humanity will endlessly dwell as One. Each human who has ever
lived will have access to the capital city, the New Jerusalem that Jesus is now preparing. And all will have access among the celestials in the New Heaven where all the angels will dwell, all of them reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus.
“And I perceived a new heaven and a new earth, for the former
heaven and the former earth pass away, and the sea is no more. And I perceived
the holy city, new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, made ready as
a bride adorned for her husband. And I hear a loud voice out of the throne
saying, "Lo! the tabernacle of God is with humanity, and He will be
tabernacling with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be
with them. And He will be brushing away every tear from their eyes. And death
will be no more, nor mourning, nor clamor, nor misery; they will be no more,
for the former things passed away. And He Who is sitting on the throne said,
"Lo! New am I making all!" And He is saying, "Write, for these
sayings are faithful and true." And He said to me, "I have become the
Alpha and the Omega, the Origin and the Consummation. To him who is thirsting I
shall be giving of the spring of the water of life gratuitously. He who is conquering
shall be enjoying this allotment, and I shall be a God to him, and he shall be
a son to Me." (Revelation 21:1-7)
Redeemed humanity will be the United Nations of the new Earth, and the new Jerusalem will be the capital city of the Kingdom of God the Father who will have become All in all His creation. The nations will thrive and will bring their glory into the New Jerusalem.
The new Earth will have a river that flows out of the new Jerusalem. Along its banks will grow the tree of life producing twelve fruits, a different fruit for each month. I envision those beloved animals that flawed humanity had been given dominion over during the past ages made alive to live upon the New Earth. The water of the river and the fruit of the tree of life will nourish them, and the leaves of the tree will cure any illnesses they may have.
“And he
shows me a river of water of life, resplendent as crystal, issuing out of the
throne of God and the Lambkin. In the center of its square, and on either side
of the river, is the log of life, producing twelve fruits, rendering its fruit
in accord with each month. And the leaves of the log are for the cure of the
nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2)
Humanity will finally be at peace among themselves and with God the Father, the unified joint body of Christ Jesus. They will have risen from the depths of evil and wickedness to be transformed into the sons of God, the glorious image of God the Father and His only begotten Son, the Lord Christ Jesus.
Humanity will be ready for doing good works in the oncoming eons!
Thank you Lord!
